5/10 DLC, not worth as DLC Should of kept the missions in the main game and added more features as DLC. We were to be given a story covering Vito's shenanigans few years after leaving Empire Bay (and him coming back to EB to sort unfinished business).ДЇuck 2K and Take Two for what they've done. literally cut content shoe-horned into 'DLC', joes adventures features a mission shown at an early mafia 2 gamescon showcase for a side job Vito could do. Same with Mafia III and it's cut content. Instead, we got some ballsy DLCs which were all about getting some damn stupid points.

We were supposed to find out what actually happened to Joe and the story (after killing Carlo) was to be a tad extended. Originally it was supposed to have 19 chapters as Dan Vavra stated once (before leaving 2k Czech). What's worse is that Mafia II was a rushed game. There were actually 4 new story missions, the rest was just arcade stuff usually related to going and killign someone, destroying stuff or driving from A to B. Joe's Adventures was slightly better, missions were quite challenging when you played it on hardest difficulty and I liked the fact that it was some sort of a gap fill between ch. As for Jimmy's Vendetta and Jimmy's Betrayal - what the fuck? I played it for several minutes but I was bored, it was not even related to the main story (as it was alternate universe) and it was just run & gun style gameplay without any story to it. Out of all three DLC's Joe's Adventures was actually the one you could digest. You literally ended fighting with everything, cops gangs and time without any save between, is like GTA 3 difficulty and maybe even worse.ДЄnother mission is from buzzsaw mission location, in story mode you have progress saves.In dlc its almost same mission but without saves and any help of partners with time limit on a top.ДЄnd that list go on, another example is when you have to deliver a car and there are attackers mostly in two cars shooting from tommy guns and you can do nothing from car.ДЇun thing is that you need to change clothes and change car and drive like idiot around whole map to that army surplus store after every single mission. There are missions such as destroy three bars in row under time limit. On the other hand there are three DLC that gimmick freeroam almost with nothing added except brutal difficulty thanks to missing game mechanics like shooting from cars and bail out, added time limit and without progress saves. There is main story a well balanced game difficulty with a lot of progress saves through shootouts. You literally get three EXTREME RIDES on top of story mode.
